Ever feel like you're in a holding pattern? I asked a friend of mine that last night and he said yes. Truth is we all do at some point in time. It feels like God is just holding us in place, not showing us anything at all. It doesn't have to be a spiritual dry time either. Most of the time I'm saturated with God but feel like I'm going nowhere as far as life is concerned. I think that probably happens to most of us and as irritating as it is it makes the end result that much sweeter. The same friend asked me why it has to be so hard to really get what you want out of life. I answered that I beleived it's because if you don't sacrifice along the way and if it's so easy we are certainly not going to appriciate our dreams come true. What are dreams if they are so easy to make reality? Well, then they become reality and we don't want that, that takes away the specialness of it, makes it raw and human and undesirable. Thank God for dreams that take lifetimes, they're worth it and I don't have to be 60 to know that. :) I'm gonna stop looking back and starting moving on
